Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse to join our leadership team. The QA Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of resident care, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
Shift: Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)
Work week breakdown:
- QA Nurse: Monday to Wednesday
- RN Supervisor: Thursdy to Friday
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the facility’s quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) program.

Conduct regular audits, chart reviews, and quality rounds to ensure adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Analyze data and develop reports to track trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and staff to promote best practices and ensure consistent quality care.

Assist with staff education and training on quality improvement processes and compliance topics.

Participate in survey preparation and act as a liaison during regulatory inspections.
Qualifications

Current, active California RN.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Prior experience in quality assurance, MDS, or compliance preferred.

Strong knowledge of Title 22, OBRA, and CMS regulations.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
