Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents and patients, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations

• Order and receive food and supplies, managing inventory and minimizing waste

• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special diets and meals for residents with specific needs

• Develop and maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with residents, patients, and colleagues

Cook Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of experience in a culinary setting, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment

• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed
