Residential Electrician

Mpower Solar is the largest solar installer based in NYC, known for leading the industry in sales, design, installation, and maintenance. We help homeowners lower their carbon footprint while maximizing energy savings through high-quality, dependable solar solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Solar Residential Electrician to join our team and perform a variety of electrical service work across NYC with previous Solar Electrical experience and knowledge in Solar Edge and Enphase systems.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field while maintaining excellent communication with supervisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform Main Service Panel (MSP) upgrades, relocations, and service updates.
• Replace feeders, breakers, and other residential electrical components as needed.
• Travel daily to customer locations across New York City.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with field supervisors, project managers, and customers.
• Document completed work with photos and written notes in the company system.
• Maintain a professional and solution-focused approach to problem solving.

Requirements

• 3-5 + years of residential electrical experience.
• Previous Electrical Solar experience with Solar Edge and Enphase systems 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and service upgrades.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for communication and reporting.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move electrical materials and equipment.
