CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Somers, NY ($27.00 an Hour!) - Full-time / Part-time

Executive Recruiting Network is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant at a healthcare facility located in Somers, NY

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Record a resident’s medical history accurately.

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.

• Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.

• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds.

• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.

• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.

• Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.

Requirements:

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certificate in NY.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification from New York.

• 1 year of LTC Experience, SNF experience strongly preferred.

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.

• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
