Key Responsibilities:
- Support the pharmacist in accurately preparing and dispensing medications.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage stock to ensure medications are always available.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Keep precise patient records and maintain pharmacy documentation.
- Handle insurance claims processing and assist with reimbursement issues.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is a plus.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
