Job Description
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with strong receiving and inventory skills? Join our Receiving team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant inbound material flow. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced warehouse environments and enjoy taking ownership of their work.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19 – $20 per hour
Perform advanced receiving tasks including unloading trucks, verifying shipments, inspecting materials, and processing discrepancies
Resolve receiving issues independently such as quantity mismatches, damaged goods, incorrect labeling, and missing documentation
Use ERP/WMS systems (MRP, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) to update inventory, complete receipts, and investigate stock errors
Coordinate with purchasing, quality, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate material flow
Handle complex inbound shipments including international shipments, hazardous materials, and bulk or mixed pallets
Perform cycle counts and root cause investigations for inventory discrepancies
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
Lead or assist in training receiving staff on procedures and best practices
Ensure compliance with safety standards, documentation requirements, and company procedures
Previous experience in a receiving department required
Computer proficiency and experience using MRP/ERP systems
Strong understanding of receiving documentation (BOL, packing lists, ASN, COA, MSDS)
Ability to perform accurate counting, measurements, and unit conversions (lbs vs kg, liters vs gallons, etc.)
Forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred
Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Preferred knowledge of freight classes, NMFC, Hazmat awareness, cycle counting, and inventory audits
