Job Description
Pay: $21-$25/hr
Location: Elgin, IL (on-site)
Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm
Employment Type: Temporary Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive temporary Office Assistant to support our procurement team. This role involves high-volume data management, invoice processing, and purchase order creation. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, highly organized, and proficient in Excel, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
Perform high-volume data entry with attention to detail
Create and manage purchase orders
Utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other formulas to analyze and manage data
Assist with procurement-related reporting and record keeping
Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Use Microsoft Access for data management (helpful but not required)
Qualifications:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Experience with high-volume data entry and invoice processing
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus, but not required
