Job Description
Looking for an Experienced Light Industrial/Maintenance Electrician to join our team to support ongoing facility maintenance and electrical work at their Hampton, GA site. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, updating, and installing electrical equipment, wiring, motors, and controls. Candidates should be comfortable working independently on work orders, troubleshooting failures, restoring power when needed, and documenting completed electrical work per facility requirements.
Location: Hampton, GA
Start Date/Time: ASAP – 1st Shift (Exact schedule TBD)
Duration: Through July 2026 (5 Months - Potential extension based on performance/need)
Hours/Wk: 40
Requirements: Must have experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems in an industrial or facility environment. Steel/composite toe boots and standard PPE required (hard hat, etc.).
Duties Include:
• Maintain, repair, and update electrical equipment onsite
• Install power sources, wiring, and circuitry as required
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and restore systems during failures
• Install and maintain motors, lighting controls, machines, and instruments
• Respond to service requests from facility staff and management
• Complete work orders and track materials used
• Document all work according to company and facility standards
• Communicate ongoing issues and progress to supervisors/managers
Qualifications:
• Prior experience as an electrician in an industrial or facility maintenance setting
• Strong troubleshooting and repair background
• Familiarity with motors, controls, lighting systems, and equipment wiring
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work full-time through July
