The Los Angeles office of SmithGroup is looking for a Landscape Architecture Intern to join our team.
Working with us, you will:
- Work on integrated design teams with architecture, engineering, planning and surveying.
- Participate in the preparation of concepts, design development, and graphic illustrations.
- Edit technical specifications.
- Review shop drawings.
- Participate in design meetings.
- Compile data and prepare design solutions.
- Receive mentorship from experienced design professionals.
- Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites.
An ideal candidate has:
- Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited landscape architecture program by the time of the internship.
- Some experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite.
