Position Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Nest-Based Router (NBR) CNC Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll operate CNC routers to cut laminated wood panels with precision and efficiency, helping us deliver top-tier products to our customers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC routers using nest-based software and techniques.
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Load sheet materials and oversee the machine through cutting cycles.
- Inspect and verify part quality, making machine adjustments as needed.
- Perform daily maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting on machinery.
- Work collaboratively with programmers, material handlers, and QC staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience operating CNC routers (Thermwood, Biesse, Weeke, or similar) preferred.
- Familiarity with nesting software and woodworking or panel processing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers).
- Mechanically inclined and quality-focused.
- Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
