Kitchen Worker 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing fresh ingredients for sushi, ramen, donburi, and other traditional Japanese dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchen stations
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other food items as directed
• Keep prep and storage areas organized and well-stocked
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with basic cooking or plating tasks as needed
• Follow all food safety protocols and health department regulations
• Washes Dishes

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
• Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions carefully
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
