Plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Collegedale, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Worker, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:
Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns
Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications
Ability to meet strict attendance guidelines (with or without an accommodation)
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
Ability to stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others
Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment
Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis (with or without an accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field
