The Clermont County Public Library (CCPL) is seeking a dynamic System Programmer to develop and implement impactful programming for youth, adults, and intergenerational audiences. About the Role:
As a System Programmer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering a wide range of creative programs that connect people of all ages to the Library's resources and services. From hosting dynamic in-house events to fostering community partnerships, you'll ensure CCPL's programming remains vibrant, relevant, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Programming: Develop and conduct creative programs for youth, adults, and intergenerational audiences both within library branches and through community outreach.
- Collaboration & Planning: Partner with staff across the system to plan and execute programs and special events.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners to promote Library programs and services.
- Administrative Support: Manage program schedules, maintain task lists and timelines, and prepare reports, including project cost analysis.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist in training staff on effective programming techniques and serve as a mentor to new team members.
About You:
We're looking for a motivated individual with:
- Experience creating and delivering engaging programs to diverse audiences of all ages.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with guests, colleagues, and community partners.
- Proficiency in computers and software applications, with familiarity in library technology systems preferred.
- A four-year degree and/or prior library experience (preferred).
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet programming schedules.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
