Job Title: Board Certified/Eligible Primary Care Physician – Non-Direct Care
Location: Montevideo, MN
Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. The provider will deliver preventive, acute, and chronic care, coordinate referrals, and ensure timely communication of clinical results. This role also includes administrative support, education, and participation in team-based care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and health education.
• Conduct patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and care management across a wide range of conditions.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments (average 12 patients/day, 30–60 minutes each).
• Assess walk-in patients as needed.
• Consult with referring providers and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Communicate test results and follow established medication and treatment policies.
• Provide discharge education and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain licensure, board certifications, and required documentation for compliance.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• DEA registration for the state of practice.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Malpractice and medical liability insurance coverage.
