Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Director of Nursing for a travel nursing job in Flandreau, South Dakota.

Requirements:

- Active RN license \n
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university \n
- Minimum 3 years of recent Director of Nursing (DON) experience \n
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility \n
- Current CPR/BLS certification \n
Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and oversee all Nursing Services operations \n
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff \n
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations \n
- Participate in admissions, QAPI, and performance improvement activities \n
- Attend management and facility committee meetings \n
- Ensure high-quality resident care and adequate staffing \n
- Participate in the facility's on-call rotation as needed \n

- The facility conducts its own background check and drug screen in addition to the agency's screening. \n
- Results typically take 7–10 business days, and candidates cannot begin the assignment until both screenings are complete. \n
