**Exciting Opportunity for PACU RN in Hawaii!**\n\n**Job Description:**\n\n- Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).\n \n- Be part of a crucial role, caring for patients pre-op and through Phase I and Phase II recovery.\n\n- Leverage your advanced knowledge of anesthesiology to assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track indicators of stability or complications.\n\n- Bring your critical thinking abilities into play and make a real difference in patients' recovery journeys.\n\n**Equipment You'll Use:**\n \n- Meditech\n \n- PCA Pumps\n \n- Pyxis\n \n- Braun IV Pumps\n \n- Cryocuff\n \n- SCD's\n \n- Bair PAWS Warmers\n \n- HP Monitors\n \n- Phillips Monitors\n\n**Required Skills and Experience:**\n\n- 2+ years of experience as a critical care RN (i.e., ER & ICU) in a hospital setting may substitute for PACU nurse experience.\n\n- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.\n\n- A valid professional license within the state of Hawaii is required upon acceptance of the offer.\n\n- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is recommended and may be required for specific registered nurses and travel nurse positions.\n\n- Other specialty-related certifications (i.e., NIHSS & TNCC) are preferred and may be required for specific positions.\n\n**Shift and Schedule:**\n\n- Shifts may vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours and include Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends/Holidays.\n\n- On-call shifts may be required up to 3 times per month (8-hour night and 24-hour weekends/holidays).\n\n- Hours worked are variable; no guarantee of hours or shift preference.\n\n**Holiday Coverage Required:**\n\n- Yes\n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \n\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
