Radiation Therapists

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $41/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overtime: Available as needed

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join a respected oncology care team in Houston, Texas. Position Summary

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. This role works collaboratively with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure precise treatment delivery and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other conditions
• Perform treatment simulations and patient positioning/set-ups
• Calculate and deliver prescribed radiation doses per physician orders
• Operate, monitor, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment
• Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and address questions or concerns
• Observe patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient treatment documentation
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety and quality care

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED (required)

- 1-2 years of healthcare, care coordination, administrative, or customer service experience

- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems

- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Medical Assistant background and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
