About This Opportunity
We're looking for an Assistant General Manager for our busiest Massachusetts location. This Worcester store runs $55-60K weekly and serves as the training ground for future General Managers. With three new locations opening in the next 18 months, we need someone who can stabilize operations now and step into a GM role within 6-12 months.
This is our flagship location, high volume, high visibility, high opportunity.
What Your Week Looks Like
- 45-50 hours with primary focus on evenings and weekends
- Leading a team of 14 (building to 17) during peak service
- Four nights per week minimum on the floor
- Directing staff, managing cash operations, and maintaining guest experience
- Training on scheduling, inventory, and business fundamentals
- Making real-time decisions during high-pressure service
What We're Looking For
- Management experience in quick-service or fast-casual (Shift Lead, AM, or AGM level)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously during rushes
- Direct communication style when coaching team members
- Consistent punctuality and reliability (non-negotiable)
- Flexibility to cover when staff call out
- Comfort addressing performance issues head-on
- Experience in high-volume environments ($40K+ weekly sales preferred)
