    JOB SUMMARY

    The Manufacturing Supervisor Second Shift oversees all aspects of the operations performed within the manufacturing facility. This leadership role involves managing resources, optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and promoting a safe and efficient working environment. He or she is critical in achieving production goals, meeting customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
    • Meets daily with the Manufacturing Manager to discuss and coordinate nightly activities.
    • Confers with Engineering/Scheduling Managers and other managers to coordinate activities of shop departments.
    • Holds daily discussions with Engineering/Scheduling Managers to meet production schedules.
    • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products, and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of shop, department, and/or work crew.
    • Helps to maintain time and production records.
    • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems.
    • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate worker(s) to achieve goals.
    • Works with the Manufacturing Manager and Quality Manager to follow all ISO quality system practices.
    • Enforces safety regulations.
    • Oversees critical hiring and skill development programs.
    • Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
    • Assigns training to appropriate personnel.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship.
    • 5+ years experience in CNC Management.
    • Ability to lead a large team positively and productively.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Multitasking and time-management skills.
    • Knowledge of the latest safety laws and regulations.
    • Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations.
    • Good problem-solving abilities.
    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors degree in business management or a related field.
    • 10+ years experience in CNC Management.
    • Proven work experience as a Plant Manager.

    • Mainly shop-based position but with an office on the shop floor.
    • Hybrid office & indoor shop-based position.

    • Skin exposed to oils and cutting fluids.


Compensation details: 95000-115000 Yearly Salary
