ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a motivated, organized Assistant Property Manager to help deliver an exceptional resident experience and support the daily operations of our communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of customer service, leasing, administrative work, and problem-solving—and wants a long-term career path in property management. WHAT YOU’LL DO Leasing, Resident Experience & Administration •Be a welcoming, professional point of contact for residents and prospects. •Show apartments, process applications, and manage lease renewals. •Guide new residents through a seamless move-in process. •Collect, process, and deposit rent and security payments accurately and on time. •Manage delinquencies, late notices, and assist with eviction coordination. •Respond promptly to resident inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism. •Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports and handle general office administration. •Coordinate with the maintenance team on work orders, turnovers, move-ins, and move-outs. •Handle additional tasks and special projects as assigned. Operational & Team Support •Help maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company policies. •Assist with staff supervision, training, and development in the Property Manager’s absence. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR •Experience in basic bookkeeping, accounting, office administration, or residential property management (preferred). •Strong customer service and communication skills. •Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines. •High attention to detail, especially in financial and administrative tasks. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning property management software. •Ability to interpret policies, business information, and basic accounting data. •Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varied situations. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS •Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. •Ability to move throughout the property to perform essential functions. •Occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 lbs. •Standard office and on-site property environment. •Reasonable accommodations available as needed.
