• Requirements:
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Physician (MD/DO), Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), or Physician’s Assistant (PA) Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus

What does a typical day look like for the Primary Care Physician?

You will:

• Work on-site in an outpatient Primary Care Clinic Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and any other mutually agreed upon hours
• 40 hours per week plus up to five (5) hours weekly beyond normal tour of duty for approved activity (i.e., training, patient care activities, and administrative duties)
• Attend on average 12 scheduled Patient Care appointments (30-minute and 60-minute appointment times)
• Occasional assessment of walk-in outpatient veterans

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
• Physician (MD/DO), Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), or Physician’s Assistant (PA) Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPRS)
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus
