Position Title: Facilities Support Worker
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor
Status: Full-time/Part-time Year-Round or Full-time/Part-time Seasonal, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Working Hours: Varied hours/shifts, fluctuates with time of season, weekends and holidays typical
Wage: $17.00 per hour

Position Summary: Responsible for the daily maintenance of resort facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 1 – NE01
• General cleaning throughout the resort property.
• Areas include but are not limited to maintaining cleanliness of public areas and restrooms, restocking supplies as needed, collecting trash, removing snow, treating ice, collecting/sorting recycling, etc.
• Exhibits attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment or independently.
• Responds to service requests and assists co-workers in set-up/tear-down chairs, tables, AV equipment, dance floor, etc., for a variety of Banquet Event Order (BEO) functions, i.e. wedding events and various group events.
• For BEO functions with no F&B (other than water stations) – Facilities Maintenance Department will lay all table linens for single room or multiple room layouts.
• For BEO functions with F&B – Banquet Department will lay all table linens for single room or multiple room layouts.
• Vacuums, shampoos and spot cleans carpets and furniture; washes windows.
• Removes trash in accordance with established procedures.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms, facilities and other facilities; restocks facilities with paper and supplies.
• Performs various maintenance and custodial duties such as installation and repair to fixtures around resort.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems; replaces a variety of light bulbs and lighting accessories.
• Identifies stains and uses proper chemicals for removal.
• Follow instructions per senior staff members.
• Operates power equipment such as carpet extractors, pressure washer, snow blower, hand and power tools and Wisp Resort vehicles.
• Performs preventative maintenance in and around facilities.
Qualifications:
Successful execution of this job requires an individual to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees capability without minimum education requirement
• Previous resort facility experience helpful
