🚀 What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Changing Lives):

As a Variable Schedule Employment Job Coach, you’ll be the bridge between opportunity and empowerment. You’ll work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them thrive in the workforce and reach personal milestones.

You will:

• Collaborate with a passionate team to support individuals in shaping their future.
• Create personalized plans that meet people where they are.
• Help develop life-changing skills to prepare job seekers for employment.
• Provide on-site coaching to ensure success in their roles.
• Build relationships with employers to create new job opportunities.
• Act as a go-to liaison between the job seeker and their employer.
• Empower individuals to believe in themselves and their potential.

🌟 Preferred Experience (but not required to apply!):

• Background in Human Services or vocational training.
• Experience with job development or workforce services.
• Great with computers—think Microsoft Office & Google Drive.
• A passion for guiding others toward their goals.
• Comfortable working solo or as part of a team.

✅ To Be Considered, You Must:

• Be flexible: schedules depend on the needs of those we serve—so adaptability is key. (Mornings, Evenings and Weekends)
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be confident in your written and verbal communication.
• Own a reliable vehicle with valid license, insurance, and a clean DMV record (max 3 points in 4 years).
• Be tech-savvy enough to handle reports, emails, and basic documentation.

The salary is $22.00 per hour, between 36 and 40 hours per week. Hours will vary based on assigned participant work schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (Day and Evenings)

COVID-19 considerations:

All work stations are at least six feet apart and all staff are provided access to PPE and sanitary supplies. All employees and program participants are screened each day to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

• Sacramento, CA 95815: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
