Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

Job Summary:
\n The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT ensures the evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff is administered accurately, timely, and reliably. Customers served include employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies. Priority is given to activities directly affecting customer service.

Required Qualifications:
\n • Associate’s degree in radiologic technology
\n • NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered
\n • ARRT(R)
\n • BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications:
\n • ARRT CT Registration

Additional Information:
\n • Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information
\n • Complies with hospital policies and procedures for incident reporting
\n • Performs CT procedures as requested by referring physicians
\n • Demonstrates radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers
\n • Participates in Radiology Management System functions for patient procedures
\n • Provides patient education as required
\n • Maintains effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff
\n • Adheres to clinical principles, methods, and procedures for CT procedures
\n • Abides by service delivery standards in interactions with patients, visitors, and employees
