American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Georgetown, KY, requiring 2+ years of experience and CNMT certification.
Details- Works in the Nuclear Medicine department of a 75-bed acute care hospital serving Scott and Franklin Counties in central Kentucky
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Full spectrum of nuclear medicine cases with a heavy emphasis on cardiac imaging
- Uses GE Infinia II equipment
- EMR: MedHost with NovaRad PACS system
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- No weekend or call requirements
- No float requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- CNMT certification required
- AHA certifications required
- Associate's Degree required
- Proficiency in IV placement required
- Strong cardiac imaging experience required
- Experience with Cardiac QGS/QPS preferred
- Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Performs a full spectrum of nuclear medicine procedures with a heavy focus on cardiac imaging
- Team-oriented work environment
- Orientation is held on Mondays
- Black scrubs required; Crocs/clog-style shoes are not permitted
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
