About the Role
A confidential, high growth technology company is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented Global Mobility Coordinator to join its Global Mobility team in New York. This role supports relocation and immigration programs globally and plays a critical part in delivering a thoughtful, white glove employee experience during relocation.
This is a hands on coordination role that is approximately 50 percent operational and systems focused, and 50 percent direct support to the Relocation Program Manager. The ideal candidate brings a hospitality mindset, strong operational discipline, and genuine care for employee experience during sensitive relocation situations.
What You’ll Do
Relocation and Immigration Coordination
• Coordinate relocation and immigration case kickoffs for new hires and employees
• Partner with program managers to support domestic and international relocation workflows
• Coordinate questionnaires, document collection, and required notices with immigration and relocation vendors
• Track timelines, milestones, and risks impacting employee start dates
• Provide responsive, high touch support to employees throughout relocation and immigration processes
Operational and Administrative Support
• Manage a shared inbox and ticketing system by triaging, assigning, and escalating requests
• Maintain accurate case data across internal systems and vendor platforms
• Monitor immigration and relocation vendors against SLAs and proactively follow up on action items
• Support immigration reporting, audits, and documentation efforts
• Assist with scheduling calls, collecting signatures, and distributing required notices
Employee Experience Focus
Relocation can be complex and emotional. This role requires a calm, empathetic, and service oriented approach, with the ability to recognize when something may not be going smoothly and take action to support the employee.
A hospitality or service mindset is critical to success in this role.
Qualifications
Required
• 4 or more years of global mobility coordination or related experience, with exposure to both US and global workflows strongly preferred
• 3 or more years of experience supporting domestic US and international relocation processes or managing relocation vendors
• General familiarity with common US and global work and business travel visa types
• Experience managing immigration case management systems and supporting immigration workflows
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to navigate HRIS systems and interpret offer letters
• Comfortable working with confidential information in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and build subject matter knowledge in relocation and global mobility
