Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on a 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit, with Epic experience and certifications including FHM and NRP required.

• 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit with a Level 1 nursery staffed according to AWHONN guidelines
\n
• Patient population includes labor and delivery, mother/baby, antepartum, low-risk, and postpartum cases
\n
• Skills utilized include NST, reflex checks, external fetal heart monitoring, cardiac monitoring, fetal monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy, APGAR scoring, pain management, postpartum care, and triage
\n
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
\n
• Every third weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
\n
• Holiday coverage may be required
\n
• On-call is required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WI or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
\n
• AWHONN intermediate or advanced certification preferred
\n
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
\n

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
\n
• Travelers must be clean-shaven for N95 fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal respiratory devices are not permitted; failure to comply will result in cancellation
\n
