A leadership role with impact. Nautilus Pier 4, a critically acclaimed restaurant in Boston’s Seaport, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead its front of house team. Pay is salary based, highly competitive, and dependent on experience, but includes paid time off, health benefits, and access to dental and vision benefits as well.


Successful Candidates will have a love for hospitality, be a team player and thrive in an energetic atmosphere. They will enjoy building relationships with their team and guests and are enthusiastic about restaurant culture and continued education for employees. Responsibilities will include being one of the main faces of the business, greeting guests on a nightly basis, floor management during service, overseeing schedules and organizing and planning nightly reservations, training and development of staff, and helping to improve our systems and culture. What You’ll Bring:


5+ years of professional front of house experience, with time in leadership roles

Strong communication skills and the ability to lead with clarity and confidence

The Nautilus opened in 2014 and is located downtown on Nantucket Island, 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The busy restaurant offers coastal leaning, Asian and Latin-inspired small plates and multi-person feasts, creative culinary inspired cocktails, an extensive beer and liquor collection, and an award-winning wine and sake list. We pride ourselves on being one of the island's top restaurants and in helping our staff learn, grow, and in elevating their knowledge of food, beverage, service, and hospitality. We are currently closed for our winter season and re-opening early spring. We operate 5 to 6 days a week in the shoulder season and 7 days a week in the high season.
