Job DescriptionCompany Description
Oversee inbound shipping services and setup.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Pre-pick raw and prefinished molding products for production or shipping.
- Receive inbound molding, jambs, stair parts, and any other materials except doors for the
- Interior Millwork division.
- Unload vendor trucks.
- Verify order accuracy for both inbound and outbound products.
- Direct other trim pulling employees with picking, stocking, and receiving duties.
- Implement job assignments and ensure assignments are followed.
- Communicate with production support and purchasing on product scheduling, inventory and deliveries.
- Hold responsibility for inventory levels through cycle counts and report discrepancies to purchasing and production support in a timely manner.
- Audit quality of trim and boards during receiving process and cycle counting.
- Maintain product location details with clear markings and continuous updates.
- Communicate with purchasing and production support on old SPO products, rejected products, and product for auction to ensure they are handled appropriately.
- Train new employees placed in the trim pulling department through standard work processes.
- Report information as needed to the Plant Manager and Director of Operations.
- Minimize damage or defective product.
- Complete necessary paperwork to maintain accuracy on both inbound and outbound products.
- Promote safety amongst employees and ensure all safety practices and policies and followed.
- RMAs – track returns, rework, sort, and repackage.
- Review all tickets and stage products for stocking. Report discrepancies/errors in the ticket.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ warehouse experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge in the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required including conflict resolution.
- Work independently and as a strong team member.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- The drive to achieve personal success and advancement.
- Make critical decisions while following company procedures.
- Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence.
