CNC Programmer / Machinist - HAAS Mills (2nd Shift)

Job Summary:
Manufacturing company in Lawrenceville is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist with recent hands-on programming experience. This role requires the ability to program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC milling machines independently. Programming is a critical component of this position — candidates must have programmed within the last three years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code)

• Program using Mastercam (preferred)

• Perform full machine setups including tooling, offsets, and fixture setup

• Operate HAAS CNC milling machines (3-axis preferred)

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Machine aluminum and other metals to tight tolerances

• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments

• Troubleshoot and make program adjustments as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC milling experience

• Recent CNC programming experience (within last 3 years required)

• Experience with HAAS CNC machines

• Mastercam experience strongly preferred

• Ability to perform full setups independently

• Strong understanding of G-code

• Blueprint reading and inspection skills

• Ability to work 2nd shift

This is not an operator-only role. Candidates must have hands-on programming experience.
