Aerospace Masking Technician

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18.50 - $23.00 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Aerospace Masking Technician:

• Perform masking and demasking operations on small aircraft parts and components per written work orders
• Interpret job instructions, part drawings, and first-article samples to ensure masking is applied accurately
• Apply protective masking materials (tape, plugs, caps, films) to designated areas to prevent coating or paint exposure
• Remove masking materials cleanly and inspect parts for quality, fit, and finish
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow FOD/5S standards (Foreign Object Debris prevention)
• Report quality issues or process deviations to supervision

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work standing for extended periods
• Basic measurement and reading skills
• Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision masking (but not required)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with masking tools and techniques
• Background Check and Drug test Required
