Sony Pictures Television Studios (SPTS) is one of the industry’s leading content providers, producing programming worldwide across genres and platforms. As the largest independent TV studio in the industry, SPTS produces 50+ shows each year including THE BOYS, PLURIBUS, THE GOOD DOCTOR, OUTLANDER, and PLATONIC. TV Post Production helms and supervises the Television post process for Sony Pictures’ live-action, scripted shows. Our process begins while a show is being written and carries through delivery to the Network and Studio. We work closely with several teams across Sony Pictures Television such as TV Production Accounting, Finance, Production, Business Affairs, and TV Mastering ensuring every department receives what is needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the calendar for the SVP of Post & VFX, scheduling calls & setting meetings
- Attend internal post and production meetings to coordinate information between various departments
- Vet digital start packets to ensure all necessary information is included
- Coordinate production databases (e.g. Scenechronize) including document uploads
- Collect and send internal timecards
- Assist show post teams with hard drive requests, various deliverables, & equipment requests
- Clear drives so they can be used by future shows
- Manage & organize the hard drive inventory for current & past shows
- Check over office supply orders submitted by our shows
Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Must be able to lift/move boxes of paperwork and hard drives
- A desire to work and grow in Post Production, specifically in Television
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a car to do runs
