Seacoast a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you'll be responsible for performing final inspections on materials, maintaining compliance standards, managing documentation and customer contracts, and processing PO's

Hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $22+/hr (based on experience) + full benefits
Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323
What You'll Do
- Cut material with wire cutters & and use hand tools to perform inspections and ensure compliance standards are met and verify material and length is accurate
- Put together compliance packages for each customer and review contracts, billing, and all other necessary paperwork
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and billing teams
- Perform receipt inspections, review billing, and process PO's
- Utilize Oracle to do data entry, cross reference customer specifications and line items with physical orders, print labels, pick confirming, and manage paperwork
- Field complaints/order issues and take them to manager as needed
- Use forklifts to pull and relocate inventory
- Become SDI qualified to test and sign for source inspections
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- At least one year in a Quality Control or Material Handler role
- Experience operating forklifts
- Experience using an ERP/WMS and documentation skills required
- Experience with compliance paperwork and contracts required
- Willingness to become SDI qualified to test and sign for inspections required
- Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy with paperwork required
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
