Clinical Psychologist

Our organization is on the lookout for both full-time and part-time Licensed Psychologists to join our mission of delivering in-person psychotherapy services to the elderly community. We currently support over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living centers across NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

By collaborating closely with facility staff, we strive to improve outcomes for both residents and the care teams that assist them. Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of emotional and behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health record system (EHR).
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of application.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic technological proficiency, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, with travel up to 45 minutes.
  • Capability to walk, stand, and navigate between patient rooms and offices throughout the day.
  • Full vaccination and booster status may be required at certain facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare settings.
  • Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
    • Background in psychology or addictions is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
