American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at a critical access hospital in Vermont, with required ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

- Critical access hospital setting \n
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including adult med/surg, ortho, pediatrics, observation, step-down, and special care (SCU) patients \n
- Night shift with varied scheduling \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active Vermont or Compact RN license required \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required; if not active at time of consideration, a booked course must be in place by the start of clinical orientation \n
- Current de-escalation training required or must be booked prior to contract start \n
- Experience across med/surg, telemetry, or related acute care settings preferred given the unit's broad patient population \n

- Responsible for delivering age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards \n
- Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to other levels of staff \n
- Must maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies \n
