DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be hands-on and willing to fabricate items as needed.

• Suggest modifications to improve design feasibility and increase cost efficiency.

This position reports directly to:

Engineering Manager

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum education: Associate degree in engineering related field (2 Year degree)
• 1-2 years Engineering experience
• HVAC experience

• Previous experience in spring manufacturing industry preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures required in maintenance and repair work.
• Exceptionally skilled in the used of hand and power tools.

• Ability to convey ideas and comprehend detailed instructions.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Must have good mathematical skills.
• Must have electrical experience including high voltage.
• Ability to interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.
• Ability to fabricate items as needed.
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions.

• Must be able to complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Ability to meet physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. (Employee will frequently lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.).
• Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
