Front Desk Attendant
Front Desk Attendants are responsible for the front desk customer service which includes proper money handling procedures, membership sales, proper use of computer programs and providing good customer service.
Scheduled Shifts:
Monday - Sunday, June - August
11:00am - 8:00pm (working 6-8 hour shifts)
Compensation: $14 - $16.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Front Desk Attendants are responsible for the front desk customer service which includes proper money handling procedures, membership sales, proper use of computer programs and providing good customer service.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always maintain proper supervision of front desk. Never leaves the cash drawer open and never leaves area unattended except in an emergency situation.
- Inspect area prior to use. Count drawer prior to shift and balance drawer at the end of the day using proper forms.
- Ensures patrons have proper identification or pass to enter into the facility.
- Responsible for selling pool passes, memberships, daily admissions, slide passes and miscellaneous items.
- Responsible for ensuring all forms and office equipment is stocked at facility.
- Provides security to front entrance of pool, visually supervises park and reports any problems to management.
- Closes front desk 15 minutes before the end of each shift.
- Provide appropriate emergency care to facility patrons (to the level you are trained), refers patrons to staff with a higher level of certification if needed.
- Observe, enforce and explain all facility rules and regulations.
- Attend all in-service training programs and be aware of all facility programs and scheduling. Review current aquatic staff manual.
- Completes required reports and records as assigned.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the entrance and front desk area throughout the day.
- Assist in the marketing and public relations of the pool.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff members.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Must hold current certifications in: American Red Cross CPR or take internal certification course within 30 days of hire
- Able to work with the public, assume responsibility for a safe and clean facility.
