Job Description

Expert Technical is seeking a Project Engineer for a growing, employee-owned engineering firm primarily focusing on developing civil and site design skills, and project management. Their engineers are committed to innovative, efficient design that treats, preserves, and conserves water resources, optimizes infrastructure, and creates a cleaner, safer future for communities. The Project Engineer must continuously refine drafting and design to assist engineers and project managers with project analysis, while actively leading team in plan presentation, design reliability, project scopes, and delivery timelines.

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare plans and specifications for water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including mains, gravity sewers, pump stations, and storage tanks.

• Conduct hydraulic modeling to support design efforts and contribute to comprehensive water/wastewater master studies.

• Manage construction admin services for utility infrastructure projects to ensure design compliance.

• Balance a diverse workload while mentoring entry-level staff and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

• Expert in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Excel.

• Desire to obtain EIT or PE license.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, growth-oriented work ethic and a valid driver's license.
