Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a qualified Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic and growing team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, terminate, test, and service low voltage systems including data, voice, fiber, security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and related systems.
• Pull and route low voltage cabling (CAT5/6, coax, fiber, etc.) and install pathways including conduit, cable trays, and raceways.
• Perform demolition and removal of existing low voltage and fire alarm systems as required.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage communication, security, and control systems using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Use testing devices to inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot system issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds applicable codes, standards, and local authority requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of low voltage experience (commercial preferred).
• Capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Highly technical, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Technologically proficient with solid basic math skills.
• Ability to work in various environments, including ladders, lifts, and active job sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
