Job Description
Electrician
An established, well-respected, and growing Electrical Company has an immediate opportunity for qualified Electricians (Apprentice and Journeymen). If you have residential and/or commercial electrician experience, we have the position to match your skill level and the work to keep you busy.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring system.
· Diagnose malfunctioning systems, test electrical components and continuity of circuits to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the issue.
· Installation/repair/maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, generators, outlets and lighting fixtures.
· Install panels, conduit feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting, and lighting control systems.
· Responsible for understanding and reading plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements.
· Responsible for Residential and Commercial construction and electrical projects.
· Able to organize work, run teams and safely manage projects from start to finish.
· Continually updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
· Journeyman standing or 3-4 years of Apprentice experience.
· Self-motivated capable of working as a team and with limited supervision.
· Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills.
· Positive attitude and professional customer service.
· Able and willing to work in all aspects of industry: commercial, residential, and service work.
· Current driver’s license with a good driving record.
· Must possess a strong attention to detail.
· Knowledge of safety procedures
· Knowledge of and experience with National Electric Code and any relevant local codes
