Job Description
Physical Requirements: This is a very physical position. Incumbent must be able to stand on his/her feet all day, moving, lifting. Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds frequently and throughout the day. Incumbent must wear PPE including Chemical Splash Goggles, coveralls, gloves and steel toed shoes.
A Production operator is responsible for working in all areas of the Operations department including the liquid, powder, food grade, re-packaging, and warehouse as needed. This is a versatile role that allows for cross-training of the different roles and moving between areas based on the needs of The Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Responsibilities include:
o Blending of liquid chemical products using SOPs
o Blending of powder chemical products using SOPs
o Blending of food grade chemical products using SOPs
o Repacking chemicals from totes/drums into pails and cases.
o Mix and package D-Foam
o Pulling, staging and loading of products using SOP’s
o Receiving products using SOP’s
o Bulk Receiving process using SOP’s
o Enter data, print labels, and follow processes within the company ERP system
o Helping to control inventory by ensuring accurate posting of batches and assisting with inventory cycle counting
o Proficiency in developing and communicating production planning process

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1 years of manufacturing experience
• Exceptional organization and decision-making skills.
• Must be at work and on time consistently
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions to produce products
• Must be able to stand all day, lift 75 pounds frequently, move, bend, and manipulate machinery to blend chemicals
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Forklift certification and/or training
• Demonstrated experience leading change and driving improvement.
• Ability to understand and effectively relate to employees at all levels. Can promote a climate of positive employee relations.
• Proven skill in projecting confidence, working collaboratively, and earning trust.
• Strong written and oral communication skills at all levels within organization.
