Job Description
Pathway Group has partnered with a leading composite manufacturing firm to add a Manufacturing Planner to the team.
Summary
• Creates manufacturing and inspection plans for a diverse range of products for our Composites Department
• Works closely with our lead planner for on-boarding and training into Composite planning
• Reports to the Production supervisor
Position Responsibilities Include:
• Develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing and inspection plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
• Review and approve supplier purchase order data to ensure engineering and configuration requirements are met during contract review
• Develop advanced BOM listings to aid in procurement on new contracts
• Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues
• Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs
• Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
• Provide estimating support to department lead for job quotation
• Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
• Work under general direction from lead planner and production supervisor
Qualifications:
· Ability to interpret customer supplied specifications and drawings
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on product mix
· Attention to detail and requirements is critical
· 1 or more years of experience with an ERP software
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Desired Education:
· Preferred Experience: 3 or more years’ experience as a manufacturing planner in the Aerospace industry
· Preferred Experience: 1 or more years of experience in the Composite manufacturing industry
