Knowledgeable of standards associated with temperature monitoring, support, and maintenance.

 

5 years of prior experience each working, installing, servicing, and operating up to 2,500hp high pressure steam boilers.

 

 

a. Start-up and shut down of boiler(s),

b. Operation of plant equipment and controls,

c. Collecting, recording, and documenting of plant operations

d. Routine equipment maintenance,

e. Preparation of equipment for inspections,

f. Operation and testing of all safety devices and control equipment,

g. Operation of emergency generators,

h. Facility monitoring,

i. Perform monthly (PM’s) preventative Maintenance

j. Other tasks as required by VA for utility systems operators.

 

 

a. OSHA 10

b. Safety Testing/BEI Video training (onsite completion before working independently)

c. Auto flame Factory Trained

d. Aerco Factory Trained

e. Direct Logic Factory Trained

f. C-More Factory Trained

g. Confined Space Entry h. VHA Safe Steaming’ Course

i. 360 Training – Boiler Operator Certification
