• Monday-Friday
• 1st shift is M-TH 5:00am - 2:30pm & Friday 5:00am - 9:00am
• Available overtime

THE ROLE

The Position: A Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, and collecting trash to ensure the building’s occupants have a clean space.

What you’ll do:

• Keep building and property in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform routine maintenance activities.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and/or vacuum floors.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles.
• Clean, sanitize, and supply bathrooms, breakrooms, and kitchen.
• Clean and maintain the offices in the plant.
• During the winter perform ice and snow removal around the facility.
• During the summer perform landscaping activities such as mowing, trimming, and fence line trash cleanup.
• Maintain cleaning equipment.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

your skills & abilities (QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS):

• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools.

• Good time-management and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

• A favorable background screening, drug screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.

• Plant Environment.

• Lifting, standing, bending, and walking.
