Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg - Surgical Nights position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license.

Details\n

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a primarily surgical focus and some medical patient overlap
\n
• Unit consists of 35 private patient rooms with two nurses stations
\n
• Night shift schedule
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6 on night shift
\n
• Patient care techs available on the unit each shift
\n
• Shift supervisor present on the floor
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
\n
• Adult Med/Surg nursing background required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Care for primarily surgical patients, with some medical patients as needed based on bed availability
\n
• Manager is open to discussing holiday scheduling requests
\n
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
