Job Summary
We are Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for an 8-week travel assignment. This position supports inpatient Interventional Radiology services and may float to other radiology nursing areas as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong procedural nursing experience, expertise in sedation and recovery, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Administer and monitor procedural sedation
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Manage patient recovery and discharge education
Collaborate with physicians, radiology staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Ensure patient safety and compliance with facility protocols
Float to other radiology nursing areas as needed
Required Qualifications
Active California RN License
Minimum 2 Years of Interventional Radiology Nursing Experience
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
EPIC EMR Experience
Experience with Procedural Sedation and Patient Recovery

6:30 AM Start Time
8-Hour Shifts
40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
On-Call Required (Pager Compensation Available)
No Holiday Coverage Required
