Assembler (7 Openings) – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Perm)

Pay: $17.50/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

A growing manufacturing team in Worcester is hiring 7 Assemblers to support production of headsets, sub-assemblies, and small electromechanical components. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and have strong attention to detail—especially those comfortable working with small, delicate parts.

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble and test electromechanical components using hand tools and equipment

• Follow blueprints, patterns, and written work instructions

• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process

• Troubleshoot basic issues and complete rework/repairs as needed

• Escalate problems to the production supervisor when necessary

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Support additional production tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small/delicate components

• Detail-oriented, consistent, and quality-focused

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Assembly experience preferred (soldering experience is a plus, but not required)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (work instructions/blueprints are in English)

• Must be able to work the required department hours (no schedule flexibility)

Experience/Education:

• No formal education required

• 0–1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience preferred

• Seeking candidates with a strong work history demonstrating longevity in their prior roles.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting at a workbench

• Repetitive assembly motions

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

• Visual acuity to inspect parts and completed assemblies

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with some areas not climate controlled

• Possible exposure to heat, dust, and minor inconveniences

• Movement between workstations throughout the shift

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Must pass a background check and drug screen (THC is acceptable)

• Background check must be completed and cleared prior to starting
