Salary: $35.50 to $54.00 hourly DOE

What Youll Do

As a Structural Engineer (EIT), youll work closely with experienced engineers and learn how to:

  • Analyze loads and perform engineering calculations.
  • Design waterfront and industrial structures, including:
    • Gangways and trestles
    • Marine terminals
    • Harbors, marinas, and breakwaters
    • Mooring and berthing structures
    • Piers, wharves, and bulkheads
    • Infrastructure for the energy and aerospace industries
    • Vehicle and pedestrian bridges
  • Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Support site visits, condition assessments, and technical reportsCollaborate with civil, geotechnical, surveying, and permitting teams to broaden your expertise.



What Were Looking For

This role is ideal for engineers who are just getting started in their careers. Heres what you need to succeed:

  • BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred) from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Passed the FE exam, or plan to within 6 months.
  • Familiarity with structural software (RISA 3D, SAP2000, AutoCAD) is a plus, but not required.
  • Exposure to geotechnical engineering is helpful and considered a plus.
  • Basic understanding of structural principles and interest in design codes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, take initiative, and contribute to team success.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for fieldwork.
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship.
