Paint Line Tech

Position Overview:
The Paint Line Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining painting equipment on the production line, ensuring high-quality finishes on products, and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate paint line equipment according to standard operating procedures.

• Apply paint, coatings, or finishes to products with precision and consistency.

• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

• Ensure proper preparation of surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.

• Inspect painted products for quality and uniformity, identifying defects or inconsistencies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goals.

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a paint or coating environment preferred.

• Knowledge of paint application techniques, spray equipment, and surface preparation.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to paint operations.

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Exposure to paint fumes and chemicals; proper PPE must be worn.
