Assurance Supervisor

Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a growing public accounting firm in Georgetown, Texas seeking an experienced Assurance Supervisor. This position is onsite with a hybrid option after peak audit season.

What's the role?

Assurance Supervisors oversee engagement execution, review work, and provide technical and supervisory support while maintaining strong client relationships.

• Performing initial technical reviews of assurance reports with full disclosures.

• Supervising audit and assurance engagements.

• Demonstrating mastery of financial statement areas, including planning.

• Planning and executing review engagements.

• Independently completing preparation and compilation engagements.

• Providing timely, constructive feedback to staff.

• Managing multiple priorities and engagements.

• Maintaining positive client relationships.

What experience and skills do I need?

• CPA required.

• 6+ years of public accounting experience.

• Knowledge of taxation, U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, SSARS.

• Experience supervising Associate/Senior Associate staff.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

What will my schedule look like?

Seasonal busy periods with more balanced hours outside peak season. Monday–Friday schedule.
